ENCOUNTER NINE

My ninth sighting was in January of 1989; I was with one of my friends who also had an interest in Astronomy and UFOs.  We were outside in my front garden observing the night sky, when I happened to notice this strange flash in the sky. It was like torchlight if you flash it on. I asked my friend if he had seen it, but he hadn't.  About 5 seconds later the light flashed again, and this time he saw it. It moved a little from the first flash, and then about another 5 seconds later it flashed again. We waited to see if the light would flash again but it didn't.

ENCOUNTER TEN

My tenth sighting was on the month of June 1989 my first encounter during the day. It was about 9.00pm in the evening, it had been a warm day and it was still light outside being the summertime.  My father and me had just come back from his brothers wedding party. I was in my bedroom getting changed and my father was in his room changing as well. After I got changed I went into his room to talk; when passing the window I noticed a light in the shape of star. It was sitting the sky next to a tree in the field opposite our house.  I told my father to come to the window. When he came across I asked him what he thought the light was, but he didn't know what it was. We talked about what possible things it could be while watching it.  I opened the window as well to see if I could hear anything, but there was no noise.  It was about 30-40 feet away from us. It felt like someone was watching us. My father went down to make a cup of tea and I stayed and watched more. After about a minute after my father left the light suddenly went out. I waited for another five minutes but I never saw it again.

ENCOUNTER ELEVEN

My eleventh sighting was on the month of October of 1989; I was in my front garden with one of my friends called Mario we were saying good-bye to one of our other friends. Just as he was leaving I noticed a light like a star shinning next to the bridge. I looked at Mario and gave him the nod, to tell him what I was saying. He looked across to where I was looking. We said good-bye to our friend and ran upstairs to my parent's room. When we got there the light was still shinning, it also seemed to dim and get bright. It was a little bit cloudy, but the light was still shinning through. So again it was below cloud level.  We watched it for about 3 minutes then it just went out. We waited for half an hour, but all we saw were planes.

ENCOUNTER TWELVE

My twelfth sighting wasn't until the month of February of 1993; it was a Sunday at around 7.00pm at night. I was driving home from Edinburgh after visiting one of my friends. It was a clear night and I was just approaching a small village just on the outskirts of Edinburgh, when suddenly I saw this green ball shoot across the sky. It was round and travelling fast, it was coming from north to south. It only lasted about 3 seconds then it disappeared. When I arrived home I read some UFO reports from the paper, that happened that year and it said that a green ball had been seen 10-12 in Edinburgh. If this ball were a meteorite then there would have been a trail behind it. Also it didn't behave like any meteorite. Normally meteorites are whitish yellow but sometimes they can be slightly green. But this was different.

ENCOUNTER THIRTEEN

My thirteenth encounter was starting to get me a little scared, because who ever was controlling these crafts were taken interest in me, as you will see with this encounter. It was a Thursday evening at around 6.00pm, on the 18th of March 1993.  When looking out of my bedroom window it faces west towards a small village, and next to the village there’s a castle. I was sitting in my bedroom doing my Japanese language studies, which I started in 1993. I was sitting on the bed practising Japanese writing with a small table next to my bed, when  I happened to catch a glimpse of a light from my window. The light was round and yellow; it sat there hovering in the sky. It was about the size of torchlight if you held it at arm length. It then moved round in a circle. I couldn't believe what I was looking at.  It was like it was watching me. I jumped up and ran to my cupboard and crabbed my binoculars. I went to the window and the light was still there. I looked through the binoculars and the light was still the same
For the exception of two small yellow lights, which were at each side of the big light, which moved simultaneously with the big light.  I watched this light for about 5 minutes with it going round in circles and up and down, it would also stop and sit and hover, then suddenly it took of at a great speed in a southeasterly direction and disappeared.

ENCOUNTER FOURTEEN

My fourteenth sighting was on the 28th of April 1993; I was at a place called Darcy with my friend Mario.  It is about two miles from my hometown  We went there often to eat chips and talk and look at the great view. You can see the ski slope, the pentland hills and Edinburgh Castle, it is really great view actually it was the place that I proposed to my wife “anyway” we had just came back from the local chip shop. We sat parked eating our chips looking at the view of the hills. I had just finished eating my chips when suddenly I noticed a yellow ball of light above hillend ski slope. I said to Mario and he saw it as well. We both watched, when suddenly it went out and then about three seconds later three other lights came on. They were shaped like a triangle, with one light on the top and two on the bottom. We watched in amazement, then the bottom left light went down then round in a circle and disappeared behind the hill, and then the other two lights went out.  We waited for another half an hour but so nothing else. 

ENCOUNTER FIFTEEN

My fifteenth sighting was very strange indeed. It was on the 20th of October 1994, I had woke up at 1.00am in the morning and I couldn't go back to sleep, so I looked out of the window at the stars. Just as I opened the curtain before I could look at the stars. I saw this orange oval shape light, which sat hanging above a rooftop of the house opposite. It seemed to move slowly down behind the house and then it disappeared. I waited for about another five minutes but so nothing else.

ENCOUNTER SIXTEEN

My sixteenth sighting was on a Saturday night on the 18th of November of 1995; it was around 4.00pm in the evening. It was just getting dark. I was with my two friends who were students from Japan. I had just taken them to the Castle, which is near my hometown, and we were driving along the road to my parent's house for a cup of tea before I took them back home. We had just turned left to go up the road to their house, when I saw this orange ball throbbing in the sky. It was going over the field just next to the bridge, which comes into the village.  The minute I saw it I slowed the car down, but I didn't say anything to my friends, I didn't really know them that well.  As I drove I kept watching it and then I remembered it from my second encounter that I had in 86, it was the same type of light. I watched it until I got to the opening to go to my parents and then I lost sight of it on the way up. I wanted to drive and follow it, but I didn't know what to say to my friends. So I just left it.

ENCOUNTER SEVENTEEN

My seventeenth sighting was on the 28th of April 1996. It was a Sunday night and I was with my friend Steven. I met him at about 7.30pm and we went for chips and then we went to Darcy to eat them. We had just finished eating the chips when we both noticed this yellowish white ball of light in the sky move across behind the Pentland hills. We watched it for about 10 seconds and then it disappeared.
We left Darcy at about 9.00pm; Steven was starting work at 9.30pm at a supermarket near the bypass near Newcraighall. While driving on the bypass I noticed again a yellowish white light, like the one we saw earlier. I told Steven and he looked up and saw it as well.  It was flying over Arthur seat it didn't last very long, just about 6 seconds and then it disappeared. I took him to his work and on the way home I hoped to see it again but I didn't.

ENCOUNTER EIGHTEEN
 
 My eighteenth encounter was on a Wednesday night on the 1st of May of 1996; I had finished my work (which was back shift) it was around 10.00pm and I was going to meet a friend for an hour before going home. I got into the centre of Edinburgh and I had just came up Easter road, to turn right at the set of traffic lights to go up waterloo place, which takes you to princess street, when I saw a light catch my eye to the left of me through the windscreen of the car. It was flying across the top of Arthur Seat. It was yellow and green and was flying very low in the sky and it was flying very fast. It only lasted about 7 seconds and then it disappeared out of sight. It was very similar to the encounter that I had in the 80s. 

ENCOUNTER NINETEEN

My nineteenth sighting was in October 2000; it was on a weeknight. I was with my wife Junko, who has also a big interest in astronomy and some ufology. We got married in August 2000 and we were living at my parents at the time. We had left the house to go to the garage to buy some stuff (like sweets and juice) which is about three miles away from my hometown-heading north to Edinburgh (A68). We had got down past the hill and round the corner just near the garage, when I noticed a yellow light just above the Pentland Hills I shouted on Junko to look, but by the time she looked it had disappeared. It only lasted about 3 seconds. My wife is very interested in UFOs but she has never seen anything, she does believe it, but she would feel better if she actually saw something for herself.

ENCOUNTER TWENTY

My twentieth sighting was on Sat May 24th 2003. At around 10.45pm I was looking out of my old bedroom window at my parents house in my old village, when I happened to see a white light appear from no where from the west going East, it moved quite fast.I watched it until it got to my house and it flew past a plane which was coming from the south going north to Edinburgh airport, which is the normal flight path for planes. That is when I noticed that the light didn't behave like any other normal craft. there were no other lights on it. I looked through the binoculars and still so no other lights or structure. It flew over the house and I ran through to my parents room to see it from the other side. It was still moving at the same speed and it disapeared out of sight.
